There is a school/nursery uniform which we do expect our nursery children to wear.

The uniform consists of a sweatshirt with a white polo shirt underneath.  Children can wear navy blue or grey trousers/jogging bottoms.  Skirts or pinafores should also be navy blue or grey.  There are also green cardigans available.  All of these will have the school logo on them.  Summer dresses should be green gingham.  Shoes should be flat for all children.

Contact the school office to find out where to buy these items as we are in the process of changing our supplier but we also have a swap shop in order to try to keep costs down.  Those who are leaving school can leave behind their old All Saints’ items and these can be passed on at a much lower cost.

You are, of course, welcome to buy your uniform elsewhere without the logo.

All items of your child’s clothing should be clearly marked with his/her name, with everyone having similar clothes this is essential.

Each child has a special peg with their photo and coats are hung there each day.

We have aprons for messy activities but odd paint splashes are inevitable.  We keep a selection of spare clothes for children who may have water play or toilet accidents. If your child needs to borrow these, please wash and return them to school as soon as possible.

The nursery children have an opportunity to use the school’s large apparatus in the hall once each week, during the second term.  On these days the children will strip of to vest and pants, so no special clothing for PE is necessary.  Please ensure children wear clothes that they can take off and put on easily to encourage independence.

Handkerchief

Please would you like to donate one box of tissues when you child starts nursery.  This supply will then keep us going for the year and does away with the necessity for children to have ‘proper’ hankies, which get wet, lost and are not very hygienic when left around.

Jewellery

This is not suitable for school and should not be worn.  Children with pierced ears must wear studs rather than hoops or droppers for their own safety.
